As a teen working with my dad he instilled in me the importance of work ethic, education, Faith and family. When I was 17 years old, I joined the delayed entry program to become a United States Marine. After the Marine Corp. I attended Scott Community College in Iowa where I met the love of my life, Jessica. We have been married for 20 years. We have two children, Caleb our 23-year son and Nadya our 10-year old daughter.
As a child, surrounded in nature, working with my dad in the outdoors and with other landscape companies, it was natural to want to continue that passion as an adult. Shortly after dating in the Spring of 1997, Jessica and I began our first landscape company, Luxury Lawns Inc. in LeClaire, Iowa. During this time, the 9/11 terrorist attacks occurred. My heart was led to do more for my community. While running our business, I decided to join our local volunteer Fire Department where I served as a volunteer Firefighter for three years. After seven successful years and harsh winter snow removal services with Luxury Lawns Inc., we decided to sell the business and move to Central Florida to be in warmer year-round climate. Staying true to our Landscape passion we purchased and operated two commercial landscape franchise’s. With twelve years of owning and operating two territories we embarked on a third territory of commercial landscape management franchise in 2016.
Living in Florida, we had traveled to Northern Arizona, for several family vacations. Experiencing its gorgeous scenery and family centered communities, we decided to leave Central Florida and move West to Sedona, AZ in 2011. It was important to have Jessica be able to be at home with our children, in doing so I began a sales and marketing business, CNS Universal Holding Company LLC focusing on The Green Industry. Although we love Sedona and its beauty, we felt our hearts being pulled towards Prescott. Prescott felt more like “home” to us and gave the sense of family community we’ve always wanted. We made the decision to grow our roots in Prescott July 2016. I pursued my life-long dream of becoming an Arborist to expand my knowledge and grow deeper roots in arboriculture, and recently became an ISA Certified Arborist License number: WE-12551A. With our children older, and several years of assisting in the growth and service of various landscape companies, we decided to start our own Landscape and Design company Blue Raven Landscape + Design. “We would like to be your choice for Landscape and outdoor design”

Jessica and Taleb began their journey of Landscaping together over 20 years ago. With her extensive knowledge and work in Director of Operations, Office Management, PTA Treasurer of their daughter’s school, Human Resources, to sales and marketing, Jessica has done it all. Jessica has a heart for Veterans. For several years she and Taleb volunteered their Landscape company to be a part of Homes for Heroes where they designed, installed and maintained properties of wounded Veterans returning home. “We hope to carry on this wonderful mission of serving our Veterans here in the quad-city area.”
During the course of all her experience, she continued to grow an amazing love and admiration of the outdoors. Acknowledging the natural beauty and peace of being in the great outdoors, she helped to create landscape as an invitation to enjoy outdoor living to their clients.

About Tina Woods
Tina started designing doll clothes at the age of nine and sewing them by hand. After getting her first sewing machine for her 11th birthday she began designing and creating a lot of her own clothes. Tina began sewing wedding dresses and worked in a floral shop designing arrangements and turned it into a business.
Tina made the decision to go to college and pursue another design path in architecture. She gained her architecture degree and began working for a local architect designing homes. When the construction business slowed down, Tina pushed her design parameters even further and began to learn landscape design. Over the years, Tina has been able to successfully combine her experience and design expertise into beautiful and incomparable results. We welcomed Tina to join our team as our designer, September 2018.
